ATLANTA  is a small, rural town along the Nickel Plate Railroad and SR 19, making it the fifth stop along the Nickel Plate Arts Trail. Atlanta's small town charm shines through to its artisan offerings in a big way.

Take a stroll through this quaint community and discover its hidden gems. Stop in at the Atlanta Mercantile for handmade jewelry, textiles, food, furniture, and much more. Afterwards, dance the night away at the Atlanta Music Hall, which features local jazz, Dixieland and Bluegrass musicians every week

Atlanta also hosts one of the state's largest gatherings at the annual Atlanta New Earth Festival. Hundreds of artisan booths full of creative wares, food, fine art, crafts and antiques await the nearly 80,000 annual visitors. What's more, the Indiana Transportation Museum makes regular train trips to the events.
