FISHERS is the perfect jumping off point for the
Nickel Plate Arts Trail. Begin your journey with
traditional arts, local unique galleries, and year-round musical
concerts. Many of the historic ITM excursions depart from Fishers
Station between April and January.
Get your
festival fix at the Flavor of Fishers, Art in the Park, and the Fishers
Renaissance Faire. In the summertime, don't miss the Summer Concert
Series on Tuesday nights – bring a picinic and watch what
happens!
Of course, you can't visit Fishers
without experiencing Conner Prairie, an "Interactive History Park"
located off of Allisonville Road. Families engage, explore and discover
what it was like to live and play in Indiana's past. Be sure to check
out the new 1859 Balloon Voyage from 350 feet above the park!

Conner Prairie –
located in Fishers, 6
miles north of Indianapolis along the Nickel Plate Arts Trail –
is a
restored 19th century village that faithfully reproduces
pioneer life between 1820 and 1840. Conner Prairie has 36
carefully restored buildings, craft demonstration, and reenactment of
events on the frontier. In the summer, you
can pack a
picnic and listen to a concert under the stars as part of Indianapolis
Symphony Orchestra.
